About Bret

In 1997, Bret saw the film “Titanic” in a crowded theatre. He remembers it all: The squeaking chairs; the smell of buttered popcorn; the sticky floors covered in soda. The crowd cheered, they laughed, and they cried—they experienced the full spectrum of emotion. When the lights came on, the crowd of strangers had experienced something together. It had left an indelible mark on Bret. And from that moment on, he wanted to be a writer.

In addition to writing, Bret enjoys working out, reading books, and learning German. He was born and lives in Wisconsin.
